De Chaumées wijngaard ligt op een helling met noord-oost expositie tegen het dorp Chassagne aan. De wijnstokken zijn aangeplant in 1975. De bodem is kalk- en kiezelrijk. Voor de opvoeding van deze Premier Cru wordt bij uitzondering 30% nieuw hout gebruikt. Dit is een majestueuze Bourgogne, breed en krachtig, met hints van tropisch fruit en robuuste structuur.
The Chaumées vineyard is situated on a hill with North-East exposure bordering the village of Chassagne. The vines are planted in 1975. The soil is rich in chalky and pebbles. For maturation of this Premier Cru, an expceptional 30% new oak is used. This a majestic Burgundy, broad and bold, with hints of tropical fruits and a robust structure.
